Weekend Job Search Strategies – 4 Quick Career Improvement Tips

It’s the weekend – so now what? It used to be that weekends were for flipping through the classified on a Sunday morning with your cup of coffee and a permanent marker. So relaxing right? Ah, the days of minimal media 🙂

Should I include dates on my resume?

A lot of my clients come to me with this question. They’ve been advised to obscure or leave off dates by friends, the unemployment office, and various other professionals. Typically, my female clients are more concerned, although I have several male clients with the same issue. The “I’m forced to reinvent myself at 50” is a common thread. Strike a Balance – Work/Life Challenges

One of the most challenging things for any professional is maintaining a work/life balance. As a mom and a wife, I’m constantly reminded of all the things I could be doing when I choose to do something else. When my daughter is napping, I could be vacuuming but I’m writing a resume instead. When my son is jumping on me and screaming lalala, I could be answering an email but I’m bonding with my kids instead. What’s the end result of all this?
